The Newsboys Foundation Regional Music Award, in partnership with the Melbourne Recital Centre, is part of the MRC annual Bach Competition. The Award aims to improve access to tuition and mentoring opportunities for a gifted regional Victorian music student. The 2016 Newsboys Foundation Regional Music Award was won by violinist Lily McCann from Colbinabbin.
