Newsboys Foundation

Bequests

Your legacy

Please consider leaving a legacy gift to help improve the lives of young people in Victoria who are experiencing disadvantage. By making a bequest to the Newsboys Foundation in your Will, you can help support approximately 20 organisations per year that are making a meaningful difference in the lives of Victoria’s youth.

Your bequest will help support a wide range of projects and programs including academic pursuits, arts and cultural activities, sport and outdoor education and vocational/life skills. By supporting young people in each of these areas, you will help them to reconnect with their community in a positive way, re-engage them in education and re-ignite their passion for learning.

If you would like to leave a bequest to Newsboys Foundation in your Will, below is some suggested wording:

“I bequeath the sum of $ [and/or] % of the residue of my estate to the Newsboys Foundation ABN 19 004 239 374 [or the Newsboys Foundation Trust ABN 95 969 094 096] for which the receipt of the treasurer, secretary or public officer for the time being of the Newsboys Foundation [or the Newsboys Foundation Trust] shall be sufficient discharge to my Executors and Trustees for the bequest.”

Leaving a bequest to Newsboys Foundation truly makes a difference.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss a potential bequest, please contact Newsboys Foundation CEO, Sandy Shaw on (03) 9682 4077.

Thank you for leaving a lasting legacy and supporting young people in Victoria.
